Under the services tab, there’s a link to online refills. Fill in the information along with a valid method of contact and we’ll notify you of any questions we may have and when your order is complete.
Under the services tabs, complete the online transfer form. Fill in the information required and we’ll contact your current pharmacy. If a prescription is either expired or out-of-refills, we can also contact your doctor for a new prescription. It’s an extremely simple process that we are very familiar with and will  be glad to help you make the switch.

Compounding is a pharmacy tradition that creates customized medications from pure chemical powder to meet a patient’s requirements based on their provider’s prescription. Individualizing a medication could be creating an alternative dosage form such as capsule, topical cream, or liquid. It may also provide a solution for a variety of other problems such as difficulty swallowing pills, or requiring a different medicinal dose than offered by a manufacturer.

Pharmacy compounding can provide an alternative to difficult problems people may have in taking a commercially produced drug.

Concerned about certain ingredients in a manufactured pill?  Compounding can make medication more palatable by eliminating fillers, dyes, and other preservatives. Compounding a medication has the ability to flavor or scent certain prescriptions that many children find hard to take. Even our pets can be picky. They may need a certain medication compounded and flavored that can make it easier for you to ensure they’re taking their medicine and not wasting it.

Palmetto Family Pharmacy accepts the majority of insurances available in the marketplace as well as SC Medicaid.
We can also request your insurance information from the pharmacy that we transfer your medication from. If there are any additional questions, we’ll simply give you a call.
Unless you’re enrolled in a specialty network that allows only corporately owned pharmacies to participate, you’re copays should be the same regardless of where you go.

Other determining factors include your deductible and what type of medicine you are prescribed.
